1. Introduction

Welcome to the SeedTree x Cafe Forest Partnership Program! We're excited to help students earn rewards while building their maths skills.

This document explains the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy for our partnership program. By registering and participating, you agree to these terms.

Program Overview: Students earn virtual currency called "Seeds" by solving maths problems on the SeedTree app. These Seeds can be redeemed for discounts on drinks at Cafe Forest (up to $3 AUD per drink).

2. Terms of Service

2.1 Eligibility

• The program is open to students of all ages in Australia
• Users under 18 should have parental awareness and consent
• Parents/guardians can register on behalf of younger students (Years 3-6)

2.2 Seeds Currency

• Exchange Rate: 100 Seeds = $1 AUD
• Seeds are earned by completing maths problems and learning modules in the SeedTree app
• Seeds have no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged outside the program
• Seeds do not expire while your account is active

2.3 Redemption Rules

• Hot Drinks: Up to 150 Seeds ($1.50 AUD) can be redeemed per drink
• Iced Drinks: Up to 300 Seeds ($3.00 AUD) can be redeemed per drink
• Redemption is available only at participating Cafe Forest locations
• You must present your Seeds balance via the SeedTree app at time of purchase
• Seeds cannot be combined with other promotional offers (unless stated otherwise)
• Cafe Forest reserves the right to refuse redemption if fraud is suspected

2.4 Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• You must provide accurate and truthful information
• You must not create multiple accounts to exploit the program
• Any fraudulent activity will result in immediate account termination

2.5 Program Changes

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time with reasonable notice. Changes to Seeds earning rates, redemption limits, or other program features will be communicated via email and in-app notifications.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Required Information

To participate in the program, we collect:

• Student's Full Name: For account identification
• Email Address: For login and service communications only (see Section 4)
• School Year: To provide age-appropriate content (Years 3-10)
• Suburb/Postcode: For program reach analysis

3.2 Optional Information

• Parent/Guardian name, email, and phone number
• Previous visits to Cafe Forest
• Current SeedTree app usage status
• How you heard about the program
• General interests and feedback

3.3 Automatically Collected Data

• Registration timestamp
• IP address (for country verification)
• Seeds balance and earning history (when using the app)
• Redemption transactions at Cafe Forest
• Basic app usage analytics (session duration, features used)

5. How We Use Your Information

We use your information solely for the following purposes:

• Tracking your Seeds balance accurately
• Processing redemptions at Cafe Forest
• Providing customer support

• Analyzing program participation and engagement (aggregated data only)

• Improving the redemption experience at Cafe Forest
• Identifying and fixing technical issues

5.3 Legal Obligations

• Complying with Australian laws and regulations

• Enforcing our terms and policies

6. Data Sharing

6.1 Between Partners (SeedTree & Cafe Forest)

Your information is shared between SeedTree and Cafe Forest only to the extent necessary to operate the program. Specifically:

• SeedTree shares your Seeds balance with Cafe Forest when you redeem
• Cafe Forest shares redemption transaction data back to SeedTree
• Both parties have signed data protection agreements

6.2 Service Providers

We may share limited information with trusted service providers who help us operate the program:

• Cloud hosting providers (for secure data storage)
• Email delivery services (for service notifications only)
• Analytics providers (using anonymized data)
• Payment processors (if applicable)

All service providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.

• Correct: Update or correct any inaccurate information
• Delete: Request deletion of their child's account and all associated data
• Control: Disable their child's account at any time

7.3 Limited Data Collection

We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the service:

• No sensitive personal information is collected
• No social security or government ID numbers
• No credit card information (Seeds are earned, not purchased)
• No location tracking beyond suburb/postcode

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information:

In the unlikely event of a data breach that affects your information, we will:

10.1 Active Accounts

While your account is active, we retain your information to provide the service:

• Account information is kept for the duration of your participation
• Seeds balance and transaction history are maintained

10.2 Account Deletion

If you delete your account or request deletion:

• Personal information is deleted within 30 days
• Transaction records may be retained for 7 years for accounting and legal purposes (anonymized where possible)
• Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytics

10.3 Inactive Accounts

• Accounts inactive for 3 years will receive a notification email
• If no response within 60 days, the account may be deactivated
• You can reactivate your account by contacting us
