FreePrimary: Read 4 × 6 + 3 × 6 as four sixes plus three sixes — seven sixes, not just 42.
Bridge to algebra: 4x + 3x = 7x. Same structural reading.
Operator-Centred Reading
PaidPrimary: The operator is a verb. Read 12 − 5 as an action on 12 — subtraction without negatives.
Bridge to algebra: Terms carry their signs. The reading behind 4x − 3x.
Place Value Flexibility
PaidPrimary: 123 is one hundred and two tens and three ones — or twelve tens and three ones.
Bridge to algebra: 100a + 10b + c. Digit decomposition.
Distributive in Primary
PaidPrimary: 4 × (10 + 3) = 4 × 10 + 4 × 3 — by the definition of multiplication.
Bridge to algebra: x(y + z) — expansion is not a new rule.
